Get away from it all and head off the beaten track to the north of Uganda. After rhino trekking, Chimp tracking and the magnificence of the Nile at Murchison Falls NP, keep going north to the wonderful Kidepo Valley NP with SIPI Falls at Mt. Elgon. This remote beautiful wilderness is rated by CNN travel as the most picturesque national park in Africa. Home to lion, leopard, hyena, elephant, eland, zebra, ostrich, giraffe and simply colossal herds of buffalo and set among the rugged scenery of Karamoja.
Day 1: TRANSFER FROM ENTEBBE AIRPORT.
On this day, you will be welcomed with a representative of Wamba Gorilla Tours who will brief you about your safari and drive you to your Lodge for relaxation.

Day 2: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS – RHINOS TRACKING.
On the first day we will depart for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way you will make a stop at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big five mammals as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls National park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot. You will have lunch at the sanctuary depending on time and later drive to Budongo Forest.

DAY 3: CHIMP TRACKING - VISIT THE TOP OF THE FALLS
After breakfast you will be briefed by UWA guides about our activity of the day and embark on an exciting chimpanzee experience. On this trek you should also look out for other primates like the black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey, baboon and grey-cheeked mangabey. The trek will also provide you with an amazing bird sighting experience. We will visit the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile. The famous waterfall is being forced into a seven meter crevice, to thunder 45 meters below in a Serie of cascades. This spectacular scenery can be viewed from different points up at the baler’s summit. You will cross the nile river with the ferry to your lodge for lunch and relaxation as you wait for an evening game drive.

DAY 4: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE
After an early morning breakfast you will enjoy a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, escorted by a ranger. Game in this part includes the elephant, Rothschild giraffe, Jackson hartebeest, lions, oribis, waterbucks and a variety of savannah woodland birds. After lunch we will go on a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Watch how hippos take a bath, elephants come to drink and crocodiles lying lazy at the shores.

DAY 5: KICK START YOUR JOUNEY TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
One last chance to see some wildlife as we head out of the north-eastern corner of the park en route to the bustling ‘capital of the north’, Gulu for lunch. After lunch we take the road north to Kitgum and conditions dictate our progress but we expect to take around 2 hours through the rural north before a quick break in Kitgum. From Kitgum we head north-east to Kidepo. This is a stunning drive as we head into increasingly mountainous terrain before finally bursting through the mountain pass with the beautiful Kidepo Valley National Park laid out before us. We arrive at your lodge in the early evening and will then take the opportunity to stretch your legs and climb Amapuis Rock viewpoint for a sundowner.

DAY 6: BIG GAME AND BIG SCENERY AT KIDEPO
Wake up in the middle of the action and watch the sunrise over the Morongole mountains with a coffee and some fresh fruit. Then we begin our day of game viewing with a visit into the Narus valley in search of lion, elephant, giraffe, eland, zebra, and leopard and to marvel at the sight of the huge herd of buffalo grazing in the wetland. After lunch at the lodge you will head towards the seasonal Kidepo river in search of cheetah and ostrich. You can take a cooling drink among the Barassas palms at the Kidepo river, from which the area take their name before returning to your lodge in the mid evening. DAY 7: EXPERIENCE KARAMOJA
After breakfast you will leave for Moroto with a stop over in Kotido- Nakapelimoru, you will visit the largest Manyatta in East-Africa. Climb a large rock and take in the incredible views of the Nakipelemoru Manyatta. After this climb, head into the Manyatta and meet the Karamojong people where you can take pictures and speak one on one with the people. This visit will truly be one of the highlights of your trip. In the afternoon you will continue to Moroto and check in for the overnight. Dinner and overnight at Kara-Tunga Safari Camp.
After breakfast a day of travel will start. You will leave Karamoja behind and continue to Mt. Elgon. We will reach Sipi Village, nestled between mountains and waterfalls. After lunch at the accommodation you will enjoy a hike to the lovely Sunset view point accompanied with soft drinks overlooking Mount Elgon National Park.

DAY 9: SIPI FALLS – TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
After breakfast you set off for a walk to experience the three Sipi Falls. These are big waterfalls and you will get a great view of them as well as get so close so you can hear the roar of water and feel the water splashing on you if you want also you can make high jumping in third fall. You will go back at your lodge for lunch and embark on our journey back to Kampala.

DAY 10: CITY TOUR – TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE AIRPORT
After breakfast our driver/guide picks you up drive back to Kampala for a City Tour to explore some of the major historical sites of this beautiful country and of course some shopping.
Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of departure you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. We are looking forward to seeing you again!
